Mike brings decades of wrestling and coaching experience to the program. A former wrestler at both the high school and collegiate levels, he has dedicated much of his life to the sport and to helping young athletes succeed.
As the current Head High School Wrestling Coach at Williamsburg, Mike has led the program to tremendous success. Under his leadership, the team has captured three consecutive league titles, and his efforts have earned him recognition as Coach of the Year.
Mike brings outstanding energy and enthusiasm to the organization while continuing to introduce new techniques and opportunities for athletes to grow. He has also played a key role in developing the program's offseason training opportunities, helping wrestlers continue to improve and compete at a high level throughout the year.
Mark's wrestling journey began as a competitor in both high school and college, where he developed a deep passion for the sport. When he became a teacher at Williamsburg, he dedicated himself to growing wrestling opportunities for student-athletes and helping build the program into what it is today.
Mark founded the youth wrestling organization and spent decades serving as the Head High School Wrestling Coach. Throughout his coaching career, he guided numerous athletes to sectional, district, and state-level success while helping them reach their full potential both on and off the mat.
As both an educator and coach, Mark has had a lasting impact on the Williamsburg community. His leadership, commitment, and dedication to developing young people have helped shape generations of wrestlers and contributed greatly to the success of the program.
Ryan first became involved with the program a few years ago when his son began wrestling. What started as a way to support his son quickly grew into a passion for the sport and the wrestling community.
Over the years, Ryan has become increasingly involved with the program, dedicating his time and energy to helping young athletes learn and grow. He enjoys being part of their development both on and off the mat, while supporting the positive values that wrestling teaches.
Ryan is committed to helping the program succeed and providing a positive experience for all wrestlers and their families. He values the teamwork, discipline, and perseverance that the sport instills in young athletes and is proud to be part of their journey.
Tyler has years of wrestling experience, beginning at a young age and progressing through youth wrestling programs all the way through high school, this is where he developed a strong passion for the sport.
In addition to his wrestling background, Tyler has eight years of coaching experience and currently serves as the Head Middle School Wrestling Coach. He enjoys mentoring young athletes, helping prepare them not only for high school wrestling but also for the challenges they will face in life.
Tyler believes wrestling teaches valuable life lessons about discipline, perseverance, and self-confidence. He encourages his athletes to invest in themselves and work hard, knowing that with dedication and determination, anything is possible.
Darrell became involved with the organization when his children joined the wrestling program. Over the past three years he took a leadership role as the Head Youth Coach overseeing the youth program and helping manage its daily operations along with a volunteer HS/MS Boys and Girls coach.
Through his dedication and commitment, Darrell has played an important role in creating a positive environment for young wrestlers to learn and develop. He is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy the sport. He takes pride in giving back to the wrestling community and helping provide opportunities for the next generation of athletes.
